ハウスルール
This is a house on a residential lane, not a hotel floor. Our neighbours have lived here a long time, and the walls are thin. Everything below comes down to that.
この建物はホテルではなく、住宅地に建つ一軒家です。長く暮らしてこられたご近所の方々がいらっしゃいます。以下はそのためのお願いです。

Quiet hours apply overnight
夜間は静粛にお願いします
The exact hours are in your Airbnb booking. In practice, from early evening onwards, please treat this as somebody's home — because on both sides of you, it is.
具体的な時間帯はAirbnbのご予約内容をご確認ください。両隣はお住まいですので、夕方以降はご配慮をお願いいたします。
- Speak quietly indoors after dark, and keep windows closed if you are talking.
- 日没後は室内でも小さな声でお話しください。会話中は窓を閉めていただけると助かります。
- Outside the front door, please do not talk at all late at night. Voices carry straight into the neighbouring bedrooms.
- 深夜、玄関前での会話はお控えください。声が隣家の寝室に直接届きます。
- Carry your suitcase over the last stretch of the lane instead of rolling it. Wheels on this paving are surprisingly loud at midnight.
- 路地ではキャリーバッグを持ち上げてお運びください。深夜のキャスター音はよく響きます。
- No music, no parties, no gatherings.
- 音楽の再生、パーティー、集会はご遠慮ください。

Rubbish
ゴミの分別
There are three bins in the house, each labelled. Please sort into them as you go.
室内に分別用のゴミ箱を3つ設置しています。ラベルに従って分けて捨ててください。
Leave the bins where they are — please do not put anything out on the street. You will see household rubbish put out along the lane on certain mornings; ours is collected separately, on a different schedule. A bag left out on the wrong day sits there until the next round, and that becomes our neighbours' problem.
ゴミは室内に置いたままで結構です。路上には出さないでください。当施設のゴミは事業ごみとして別途回収しており、近隣の家庭ごみとは収集日が異なります。誤って出されたものは次回収集まで残置され、ご近所のご迷惑になります。
If a bin is full, or you have a lot of packaging from shopping, just message us.
ゴミ箱がいっぱいになった場合や、梱包材が大量に出た場合はメッセージでお知らせください。
Out and about
お出かけの際に
- Lock the door every time you leave, even for a few minutes.
- 短時間でも外出時は必ず施錠してください。
- Eating and drinking while walking is frowned upon in Kyoto. Finish your snack where you bought it.
- 京都では歩きながらの飲食は好まれません。購入した店の周辺でお召し上がりください。
- There are very few public bins. Carry your rubbish back with you — everyone here does.
- 屋外にゴミ箱はほとんどありません。ゴミはお持ち帰りください。
- Bicycles left on the street are impounded quickly, and the fine is steep.
- 路上駐輪は短時間でも撤去されます。返還には手数料がかかります。
